Elta Raptor SDA Case Mounted Axial Flow Fan
Raptor SDA is a short cased case mounted axial flow fan designed for ductwork supply and extract where you need strong airflow, dependable control and a robust finish that stands up in commercial and industrial environments.
Why Raptor SDA is a solid choice
- High performance range with air volume flow rates up to 4.60 m³/s and static pressures up to 290 Pa

- Low noise and improved efficiency via aerofoil profiled impeller design with serrated trailing edges and winglets
- Built for real sites with corrosion protection and a durable powder coated finish
- Easy electrical access thanks to a fitted terminal box as standard
Performance and sizing
The SDA range covers 8 standard sizes from 250mm to 630mm so you can select the right diameter for the duct run and duty point. It is suitable for operating temperatures up to 70°C. Selected models are available for next day delivery.
Impeller design and acoustics
Raptor SDA uses an aerofoil section impeller with sickle shaped blades. The serrated trailing edge helps smooth airflow and supports improved acoustics, while the winglet design supports efficiency where the fan is working hard across the curve.
Build quality and corrosion resistance
The casing is constructed from mild steel with full corrosion protection. Fan casings are powder coated in Telegrey 1 (RAL 7045) with the guard finished in black. This makes the unit a dependable option for plant areas, service voids and ductwork routes where a tougher finish matters.
Motor and protection
Motors are high efficiency external rotor types insulated to Class F with integral thermal overload protection. Weatherproofing varies by size, with smaller units rated to IP44 and larger units rated to IP54. EC variants also support energy efficient operation with integrated drive features.
Control and commissioning
Raptor SDA is compatible with speed control. Transformer voltage controllers can provide five speed step control for suitable single phase and three phase motors. This supports practical airflow set up during commissioning and straightforward adjustments later if the building use changes.
