Skyflow SSR Horizontal Roof Cowl
The Skyflow SSR is a horizontal roof cowl designed for commercial and industrial roof terminations where you want dependable weather protection with a tidy discharge. It is UV stabilised with a maintenance free GRP cowl and a Goose Wing Grey finish, making it well suited to exposed rooftop environments.
Select models are available for next day delivery.

System design note: pressure loss
Roof cowls introduce an additional pressure loss. Use the cowl pressure drop curve to determine the pressure loss at your required flow rate, then add that value to the system design pressure and confirm the fan selection can accommodate the extra resistance.
Installation overview
- Mounting: the cowl must be securely mounted to suit the application
- Roof pitch: installation guidance states mounting on flat or inclined roofs up to a maximum pitch angle of 35°
- Mounting methods: curb mounting plus purlin mounting are covered in the installation guidance
- Backdraught shutters: available factory fitted, retrofit procedure is also provided
Operating environment and maintenance
- Ambient limits: -20°C to +70°C fixed speed, -20°C to +50°C with a speed controller, up to 95% relative humidity
- Use limitation: not suitable for corrosive or explosive atmospheres
- Maintenance: inspect at least every 12 months, clean with a non abrasive cleaner, check fastenings for tightness
