Elta Twinflow STDL Centrifugal Box Fan
The Elta Twinflow STDL is a robust centrifugal box fan range built for dependable commercial ventilation where uptime matters. With twin fan operation and a factory fitted Auto Changeover Panel, it automatically switches to the standby fan on fault and can duty share to extend motor life. It is a strong choice for toilets, schools, offices, industrial units and similar applications where you want steady airflow with controlled noise.

- Efficient EC performance: EC external rotor motors with smooth speed control plus low specific fan powers
- Lower breakout noise: acoustically lined casing helps reduce noise escape into plant areas
- Strong build quality: 1.2 mm galvanised steel casing with integral motor mounting plates for added rigidity
- Practical range: 7 standard sizes from 125 mm to 500 mm with flow rates up to 1.740 m³/s and static pressures up to 730 Pa
- Temperature capability: suitable for operating temperatures up to 60°C
Performance and airflow control
The STDL range uses backward curved centrifugal impellers designed for efficient airflow with reduced tonal noise. The redesigned casing supports smoother airflow and improved efficiency. Integrated commissioning control enables simple set up on site, including single speed selection plus the ability to cap maximum speed where required. EC motors also support precise speed regulation via an external controller or building management system, helping you dial in performance to match the duty.

Installation notes
- Mounting: designed for horizontal mounting and external installation
- Duct connection: long spigots suit standard circular ducting, rectangular spigot options can be specified on request

Maintenance in plain English
Plan for routine inspection at least annually in line with site conditions. Typical tasks include checking fixings, inspecting mounts, keeping the impeller and internal surfaces clean and confirming correct operation of the changeover arrangement. The motor bearings are sealed for life which helps reduce routine servicing, but good access and periodic checks will protect performance long term.
